Xizorvex is an independent informational resource focused on a single subject: planning gardens and meadows that support pollinating insects in Canada. The notes here gather widely documented planting approaches and present them for home gardeners, school plots, and small restored meadows.

What we publish

The site covers three connected topics: selecting regionally native plants, sequencing bloom across the season, and arranging habitat-friendly layouts. Each topic is written as reading notes rather than instruction, because soil, exposure, and regional species shape what works in any given yard.

How content is sourced

References are limited to publicly available guidance, including general information published by the Government of Canada and planting resources from the Pollinator Partnership. Photographs are drawn from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons licenses, with attribution noted on each image.

Independence

Xizorvex is not affiliated with any government body, nursery, or the organizations referenced across the site. Content is informational and is not a substitute for region-specific horticultural or ecological advice.
